Eater of worlds modifier Life Leech

Hey all!
I saw the new eater of worlds modifier can have 7% life leech on gloves and it made me wonder how powerful that would be.

My character does 5% life leech currently and I have a pair of gloves that add another 4% life leech.

When I am equipping and unequipping the gloves my life leech stats do not change on the character page.

The 4% leech line on the char page is shown, but the leech stats do not change.

Is there a max leech that maybe I'm at and therefore not changing the leech stats?

in short, getting more % life leech will have no effect on your char unless your hit damage is very low.

For high damage characters is can be enough to get 0.2% leech to reach the cap
