Assassin's Mark vs Sniper's Mark on Skeleton mages

Hello everyone!

I am playing a skeleton mage this league and it feels pretty good.
But I amstruggling to understand, why everyone is using "Sniper's Mark" instead od "Assassin's Mark" for skeleton mages.

Damagewise assassin's mark should be better because of flat crit and crit multi. Am I missing something?

You need alot of crit to contend with ~ 40% increased projectile damage taken and free split proj clear on certain encounters.

There are certain points where AM will outperform SM but its basically at high crit chance low multi, Ironically if you have high crit chance and high multi SM will again become the more valuable.

Basically SM better in a vast majority of circumstances
