Jack, The Axe is silent

So I'm using Jack The Axe partly to hear the voice, but so far he's been silent.

I've cleared a few zones using it, it's the only weapon I have equipped (main attack is lacerate). Sound is up, have every type up (assumed it was Dialogue but wasn't sure) with headphones so I shouldn't miss it.

Is it super infrequent? Am I doing something wrong? Given the other sound issues I've seen this league, I thought I'd mention it.

There might be an overall bug with weapon dialogue.

So oddly enough, if I switch from my character with it, to another, when I first load in town I hear him speak once. (even though it's not the character equipped with it). This happens every time, happy to provide video, though assuming I'm just going to have to live without the voice this league.

Mine isn't speaking either.

like you said he speaks once upon loggin into another character, then back in to the axe owner in my case.
