[SOLVED] Permanent Up Arrow Key Input
Problem: with POE 3.17.0 patch, there is always somehow an Up Arrow Key input going on.
Which means in the character selection screen of existing one, you can't select pick only the top one because otherwise it would scroll up. Item filter? Scrolls up to the top. Changing Tab colours of your stash? Scrolls to the top. As if the Up Arrow Key is permanently pressed. This was not the case 5 hours before the big patch, when I deleted some characters and bought the golden character effect MTX. Also did not have this issue (behaviour) in Open Office (where my build guide notes are) or Chrome/Website comment boxes. Solution: End the process that is the iCUE Software (Corsair Peripherals), or update (my couple version older) the iCUE software. --- Unbelievable interaction. I am flabbergasted. Lost for words. And older version of iCUE software causes, on my system, with the newest 3.17.0 patch to think pathofexile.exe that the Up Arrow Key is permanently pressed. --- Edit: It is back. I went for a break, closed the client. Scrolled through the subreddit. Made coffee. Watched RaizQT rip to the new boss. Closed that tab. Opened the client (Standalone) ... it is back. Back with or without iCUE running (even checked tasked manager and closed all remaining service tasks). Will update this case when I found the issue. --- Edit: After consulting the Windows on-screen keyboard and a keylogger from github ... and Google Page 1, I have found my problem[1]: My messy room/desk and the xbox gamepad (connected to the pc) that was lying upside down on the floor, somehow pressing one of the thumb sticks. I feel so dumb. [1] I am not the only one who's gamepad, unbeknownst to them messing with their PC gaming session. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/down-arrow-key-stuck-only-for-windows-ui/c2fc0e90-e90e-477c-8683-c85b413c2ced Last edited by RPGNoobANKA#0714 on Feb 5, 2022, 5:11:54 AM Last bumped on Feb 4, 2022, 7:53:28 PM
