Left Click on Middle Mouse
You've probably been asked this question before, and I was unable to find a solution prior to posting on what the latest stance is and with 3.17 coming soon, I don't want to be breaking TOS. The last few days I've been doing Hideout Warrior stuff with my left click programmed to middle mouse buttion. This is such a QOL improvement went placing items in the trade windows and also six socket and six linking items. My fear is that the inputs are so fast that I could get targeted for too many inputs and get banned.
Is this acceptable? Also, what is the stance on NUM LOCK being used for autocasting? I've been using that to help with Berserk and Generals Cry to cast on cooldown. Thanks GGG. Last bumped on Jan 28, 2022, 7:43:18 PM

If you are talking about the actual middle mouse button, then it is definitely not bannable so long as you do not use actions bound to the middle mouse button and left mouse button at once.
If you are actually referring to binding it to scrolling, I believe that using an unlocked scroll wheel (e.g. on many Logitech mice) for that would be theoretically bannable since not all players would have access to this. If I recall correctly, a regular step locked scroll wheel should not be bannable, but I am not 100% sure. I am unaware of the official stance on the numlock trick to keep up instant skills since I only used it to attack in place back when it was not an option that could be set in the preferences or for each skill. |

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have left click bound to the scroll function of the middle mouse button. I have a Razer naga pro mouse and as far as I know, it doesn't unlock.

DER_PSYCHOPATH is correct. If you scroll with a wheel lock on, it's permissible. I the wheel lock is off, it violates the ToS. Find a Sarno post and read his macro guide; it should be in there somewhere with references.
NumLock would come down to how it functions. If you simply make NumLock a hotkey that functions like any other button, you're likely doing that in game anyways. If anything function differently between NumLock presses then it probably is. |

IIRC, they once accepted numlock as a toggle to force "always attack in place", as there was no in-game toggle for it. Using it to auto-cast skills would definitely be bannable if they somehow caught you doing it though.
Setting up left-click on locked scroll wheel should be fine. It is for streamers at any rate. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
