I need help with Innervate Support + The Writhing Jar

So, first of all, if i kill the worms with one hit thats have 100% chance to shock + Innervate Support i wont get the Innervate "Buff" right? there is some way to make this work without Shocked Ground or Summon Skitterbots?
OBS: After 3.16(https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Version_3.16.0) the worms have an decent Ailment Threshold to nerf spellcaster using fortify...And this makes me think about something, how tanky are these worms? i will really need almost 0 damage to kill them with 2 hits? Hey, thanks. I had heard of PoEDB, but I didn't know it had this kind of information, thats very helpful.
And i think im going to use Vessel of Vinktar, since im immune to elemental ailments and my build is based around lighting damage. But i really need to Shock first and kill after this to get the Innervate Buff right? |

You're aiming for a relatively clunky setup without significant increased duration. Plus, investing 2 flasks and a gem slot in order to gain about a third of a support gem value for your main ability.
