Minions die when summoned using fleshcrafter

Hello, I am running a fleshcrafter build, and my minions die when I equip united in dream, despite my minion chaos resistance being -2%. POB: https://pastebin.com/x6e5Gdhx

Fleshcrafter is fun, but it is so finicky with chaos resistance. With no cap on the hp to energy shield conversion, I find my minions getting absolutely erased a lot.

Giving minions 50% or more chaos res converts 100% of their life, killing them instantly when summoned. They all have at least 20% base chaos res already, so it's pretty easy to give them too much if you're not careful.

When looking at my minion gems on the character sheet, it says they have -2% chaos res too, where should I be looking for the real minion chaos res %?

the in game character sheet? that doesnt *work* for minions. it will give you no stats for them.

you either add it up yourself (look at your passives and whatnot), or use pob *correctly*



you need to click the 'show minion stats' button.

That -2 is yours. The character sheet doesn't show you anything about minion defenses. It only shows you some of their offensive stats on the offense tab--and even that isn't anywhere near accurate or complete.

You have to import your character into Path of Building to see your actual minion stats. In-game info for them is very nearly nonexistent.

Thank you, I see the chaos resistance now, I also see that iron mass halves the dps of skeletal mages too, that's a shame, it would be fun to see them get a conversion bonus from the chaos and physical.

Maybe it's time to ask GGG to pin a post about Fleshcrafter since there are a lot of the same questions/problem.

Why? If they can't read about an item in-game, which let's face it, is LOADS easier than coming to the forums to read it - and let's also not forget about the "why do I need to read about it crowd"...what makes you think they will read about it here?

At least the OP didn't post this in the Bug forum, where lord knows I have had GGG move most of these threads from. :)
