Can't remove my cluster jewel Bug

I been trying for the last few hours to remove a cluster jewel location in the raider/assassin area. I can't for some reason remove it even when I have more than enough refundable points. At this moment when I click on it, I get the refund subtree to come up and when I press yes, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong that I can't remove it?

" I have remove my account from being private, it doesn't matter since this account isn't the same account I play my characters on. The issue of this isn't because of jewels in the way. The game isn't knowledging that I am removing a jewel. Its letting me click remove subtree but when I press yes, nothing happens. I have discord if I need to show proof of it. Its just annoying dealing with a bug. |

We can't tell the exact reason without seeing your character. Check if there are any other jewels in this cluster. Check for other clusters not connected to the tree and remove them first.

I have done all the basic things to remove a cluster jewel. I played this year for years now and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I have discord and I will gladly show a screenshot of the issue. GGG forum has a shitty way of adding pictures into the post. I totally understand if I will never be able to fix it, just wish something so simple as being able to remove the cluster from a slot didn't take forever to do.

I have the same problem, I was trying a build on a standard character and refunded all the passive points. Except when I tried to remove the cluster, I couldn´t.
I did find a solution: I needed to use different cluster jewel in that spot so I tried changing the jewel, it worked. Then I added small cluster jewels, those also had the bug and couldn't be removed, but I also discovered you just need to switch with a non cluster jewel and remove that one. TL;DR: Refund all the points on the cluster then switch with a non cluster jewel and remove the jewel. Ps: I think this is linked to the infinite refunds I have, do you also have that bug? Edit: The bug fixed itself, either when I used a regret or when I switched with a normal jewel. I think it was the regret as it broke the infinite refund bug which in turn was messing with the cluster jewels.
