Immortal Ambition not providing Over-leech with Chaos Inoculation

Hello, I've been relying on Immortal Ambition to provide Overleech to activate while leeching aspects of my build

I'm not sure if this is simply a problem with the mathematics where you're unable to leech fractions of a life since its set to a single integer to where the overleech becomes fulfilled the second its applied since the maximum and minmum integer to be fulfilled would be both the same which would be 1 because my life is 1 with Chaos Inoculation.

I was hoping to discover a source of overleech while using Chaos Inoculation and even with the downsides associated with Immortal Ambition
lose 5% ES per second
cannot recharge or regenerate energy Shield
Energy shield starts at Zero
(meaning you have 1 hp when you start)

These restrictions I've been wanting to build around in order to receive over-leech but It seems to not function in this area.


A if a change to Immortal Ambition that applies while leeching if you have leeched recently, would solve this problem. I believe this is easiest way to patch this interaction between these two notables in order to gain function
