it should not work and even if it does it's worse that added lighning for example

I have tested it, it does not work for me.
When it says Yourself, that is quite specific and GGG loves their wording. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

Lightning damage and shock chance apply to supported minions. But they don't get Innervation buff, you don't get it either.
