Help -> Arctic Armor where can I see what it gives me?

When I look under my stats I don’t get a buff in anything when Arctic armor is active? Do a monster need to hit me first? And if that’s correct is there any cooldown to get the buff again when it’s off?

Less Damage taken when Hit: This modifier is applied at the very end of the damage calculations.
Chills when you are hit. The cooldown applies to when you cast it. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

What is base duration then? Got like 4 seconds?

The range, according to the Wiki, is 2.5 to 4.4.

The duration refers to the chill effect that enemies get when you are hit.
