Summon Skeletons won't summon at target anymore 1776191520

Hi POE team!

PS4 player here.

Summon Skeletons was summoning the minions at the targeted area, but now, no matter where the joystick is pointed, minions appear at my feet. Not great for a mage-build when the minions have aggro!

Is this an intentional change, or is it a bug?

UPDATE: I started a new character because my Scion doesn't work very well without Summon Skeletons. When my new Templar reached level 10, I found the skill works perfectly fine for him. Hopefully this will help your team figure out what is going on!

LAST UPDATE: Unequipping all the cosmetics fixed the issue. I then re-equipped the footprints etc., and the skill is still working properly.

You might have accidentally enabled 'alternate behaviour' on your Summon Skeletons skill gem. In the menu when assigning a skill, for some skill gems, you can press Square to toggle alternate behaviour.

Strangely enough, the alternate behavior box was NOT checked, but by checking it and then unchecking it, the behavior went back to normal (summoned at target and not next to me).

Will see if this fix STICKS - last time (after unequipping cosmetics and then re-equipping them), the skill worked at the coast just fine. I didn't change anything, but when I went back to my area, it started in alternate mode again...

This is the best advice so far, so fingers crossed!

If it still happens, it might be related to the specific skill gem. You could try to buy another Summon Skeletons gem from Nessa and see if using that one instead fixes it.
Keep in mind skill gems you buy from a vendor are lower level than the ones you have had equipped, so they are less powerful until they've leveled up!
