Vendoring maps working backwards?

This may not be a bug, but the behavior is opposite of what the Wiki states.
If you vendor 3 identical maps, the recipe should return a map of the next lever. If you vendor 1 maps from an old map series, the recipe should return a map of the current map series. However, I tried vendoring 3 Cursed Crypt maps, and I received 3 Wasteland maps. Wasteland maps are old and can't be added to the map tabb. Vendoring these 3 Wastland maps gave me 1 Grotto map. This map also seems to be old. Last bumped on Dec 6, 2021, 12:59:52 PM

You vendor 3 old Cursed Crypt maps and got 3 current version Wasteland maps. You vendor 3 Wasteland maps and got 1 current version Grotto map (next level). I think your map tab is not current version

You're correct, thank you. My map tab was not up to date, and the maps contained within it are all old.
