A question Regarding Razer mouse and gameplay

i have a question regarding the razer app to key-bind certain mouse options for example you can key-bind your mouse scroll up wheel for left click and this makes trading items in PoE much, much easier i know some of you noticed in some trades the person puts up 150 chaos orbs in less than 2 seconds well this is how they do it. or there is a program called X mouse button control. you can set a normal mouse to have its scroll wheel as left click as well. is this program X mouse button control legal to use is it against the terms of service? im just curious as the program does everything that a razer mouse or Logitech mouse can do. ill be emailing support for this question as well. but i figured i'd post it here for future people to refer too.

Hey there,

Thanks for getting in contact with us.

In general, we do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools because they provide advantages for players that use them. I'm afraid, due to the dynamics of our policies, we're unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future.

I would recommend refraining from creating or using any programs that automates or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible. I'm afraid we can't provide any additional information for your specific case - we only have the above information that we recommend you follow.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Kind regards,
Rory

so from this basic response if the program automates more than 1 action with a key-stroke its against ToS. and ANY 3rd party program is not encouraged but we still have people using LutBot, mercury trade, awakened poe trade. so im assuming that setting left click as mouse wheel up or down is allowed since it does not auto-mate more than 1 action per second?
It's a pretty grey area, especially since it allows you to make substantially more "clicks" than would be humanly possible if you were actually clicking a button as intended. No one can really confirm for you if it's allowed or not, since GGG is very opaque about it and it's up to them. It's a possibly ok but do at your own risk kinda deal.

There are definitely people who do it though.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
