add more defence. better defence. im sick of oneshots

game should be rewarding with such hardness levels, top it with oneshots. but it isnt. this game is really bad and im not recomending to play this to anyone. they will have bad time trying it out.

ha i stopped recommending this game to people to since 3.15. Had 1 friend who played in 3.14 who wanted to try out 3.15 but had troubles in 3.14 finding the game pretty hard. I advised he should pick up a fun game and forgot about this game.

I have 9k ES, 50k armour flasked up, Aegis aurora ES regain, 4 endurance charges, 10k molten shell, +2% max resist and im using all 3 elemental flasks which give me 20% reduced elemental damage taken which is always up while mapping.
Outside of 300 stacks scourge theirs no one shot happening. I can afk in wave 30 simulacrum and only kosis with nasty mods is dangerous. Maybee you should build actual defenses? |

" Ok. I see u commenting in all posts about ur tanky char. I know and I bet most know that u can build tanky chars using SPECIFIC damage gems that can still scale when u invest in defense as u did. Now pick up cyclone (no coc shenannigans) and try do build this ammount of defenses and still do damage I challenge u. Or u find its good design that everyone must follow the same recipe of builds and go champ fortify/spell supression or armor stack aegis and use only the couple of gems that can scale damge? Ofcorse with 100+ex u can make anything work. But I don't see a reason to do that when u can make one of above mentioned or a trap char using 10% of the currency and achieve the same goals... I'm using atm the meta so I'm feeling tanky nothing can kill me outside of ridiculous mods or maybe boss one shots mechs. THere is simply no choice, u must follow the meta and do this exact same recipe if u want to succede. In my case is block and elemental damage taken conversion to chaos with end charges and armor. I'm almost buying a mageblood so I can drop every defense and still be tanky (good design no? lol) |

This league in particular seems like a giant "goodbye" to glass cannons. It's been moving that direction, but this league is something else.
Also, did they buff the everliving hell out of bone rhoas? T11 maps a group of 4-5 can drop me from 7k hp to 0 from offscreen. It's 90% of my deaths this league, and worse in Scourge. I had scourge at 115ish on a T11 and got oneshot by a single blue bone rhoa. I absolutely hate it. I love building a semi-squishy character into insane damage, then throwing in just enough defense to survive most things...that was possible a year ago. Now, it's 10k hp/es, 93 layers of defense, and good luck using 95% of skills and taking under 3 minutes to kill a map boss. |

" I build multible strong super tanky characters this league. Not a single one of them was one of the typical meta builds. What GGG did in the last patches is making it almost impossible to play pure glass cannon. Thats in my oppinion a good thing because for far to long the only two things did matter in PoE were DPS and move speed. Defenses actually mean something now. Yes 300 stack scourge is dangerous for every build and a bit overtuned (Still cant find a build that can survive in a 500 crit multi 300 stack scourge map without using some shinegans to go almost completly immune to damage). I think GGG are testing the water right now on what is a good balance point for defenses. " I like the direction and ofcorse I prefer a more balanced state between offence and defence. I played only hardcore for a couple of years at the beggining so having a solid char and knowing what could or not kill me and learn from it was my fun in this game. Rn though is almost impossible to learn something. U just die and even replay in slow motion I still don't understand some deaths and this is what I find ridiculous. The inbalance between scaling skills is another thing. Some gems are so much better that u can build defences and still do god tier damage. Hell my summoner is not meta as I didnt went mage skelies like everyone is doing and holy crap the damage is insane. My cyclone char on std though no matter what I do with him (with legacy stuff and very good items) don't have even half of the damage and defence. Its hilarious how imbalanced some skills are and this piss me off as I loved my cycloner (same with sunder in the past.... rip sunder). My point is. THey nerfed stuff cause they said blablabla powercreep but release things that increase powercreep to the same lvls as before or higher so in reality they never balance but screw with builds to make u play something they want u to play. |

that is simply not true re glass cannons. i'm an aurabot am most of my carries are ULTRA glass cannons, even more so than 3.15.
i'm talking -60 resists, no armour builds that do gazillions of damage |
