Kaoms Roots not working in scourged maps

Kaom's roots are meant to protect the player against any effects that reduce their action speed. Scourge maps have a mod that can reduce player movement speed while in nightmare.
I am in a map where that mod is 100% reduced movement speed, so i bought a pair of kaoms on the market to let me run it smoothly. Lo and behold...they do not work. So, please fix this bug soon so i can keep running these maps Last bumped on Nov 17, 2021, 3:56:50 PM

Kaom's roots prevents effects that reduces animation speed such as chill, freeze, and Temporal Chains from reducing the player's animation speed below the default, not movement speed.

To be clearer, it says this (emphasis mine):
" So, action speed does indeed interact with movement speed. But while there is a correlation between the two, it's possible that other effects will counterbalance the boots, depending on what those effects are. It's not entirely clear. To be honest, I'd assumed the same thing. (That you could not be slowed beyond normal speed.) However, I've never used those boots, so I have no practical experience with them. |
