Question about mana mastery passive

anyone know if mana mastery passive "10% chance to recover 10% of mana when you use a skill works channeling and CoC/CwC skills`? so skills you dont use yout self ( More specifically CwC cyclone frostbolt)

Also what does recover 10% of mana mean? 10% of the cost of the skill? current mana? Max mana? to me its not very clear.

IIRC, the 10% chance comes into play when YOU cast a skill that costs mana. So any triggered from CoC does not count, like any skills that uses life.
Triggered skills from CwdT use your mana, but they do not count as cast by you, so they don't count also.
For the channeling skills, only the first mana cost when you start channeling will count, not the mana cost while you channel.

The recover means that you will get 10% of your total mana; not sure if it is your total mana without reservations or your total actual mana after reservations, but I think it's the first one.

Mana Mastery --> "Clarity has 100 % increased Mana Reservation Efficiency".

I choosed that, but my Clarity still uses the full amount of reserved Mana ?!? What am I doing wrong?
