Remnants of the Past / Neutral Pathways do anything?

I have both of these allocated for the past 127 T14-T16 chiseled alched sometimes vaaled maps.
And dropped 2 elder-, 1 shaper guardian and 0 synthesis maps since then. Those guardian map amount are what I dropped even before. So, are those nodes do anything in reality? What sould I expect from them? All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player. So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. Both feel weaker than they're worth, they're far from reliable to sustain guardian/synth runs which means you'll have to depend on trading if you wish to run them within a reasonable time frame.
Then again, a slightly higher chance to possibly get a Cortex drop isn't bad either. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! " Thanks, that is my sad conclusion as well. Farming rituals recently, full cleared (twice with 220-260 stacked scourge) 98 more well rolled T16 alleyways and finally dropped one single synthesis map. Just 44 more to go for the EGG, as I already bought 1-1 of the 5 to be able to unlock the uncharted passives themselves. Seems just about fine. I would replace these nodes if I would have any unmaking orbs, which is another sad story.. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
