Maybe add "-console" as a launch option for Steam and see if something appears there. You can also permanently launch it with the console by editing the desktop entry, those should be in /usr/share/applications
I am switching to Linux today so I will see what I can do. Another thing could be RADV or AMDVLK whoever you are using not loading correctly. You change the DLL by adding an environmental variable VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/path/to/ICD folder/radeon_x86_64.json You can find these files by issuing the command "sudo find / | grep icd.d" but also you can go smarter and ask in the forums of your distro where are these files because maybe you use an HDD or don't want to do a full system search. In Arch based distro's it is on /usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/ AMDVLK dll's and RADV dll's are named differently so either can be used per game or be set to Steam at launch via the desktop entry. You use ENV to set the environmental variables to a desktop entry. details: VULKAN https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Vulkan Desktop Entries, the files used to launching apps https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Desktop_entries#Modify_environment_variables |

" Yes, it is unsupported but GGG also welcomes Linux gamers. They told me they have no issues for us Linux users to play. That being said, support is mostly done by community members in the Linux world. It is a sane choice to ask on their OS distribution forums. |

" Did you install the AMDGPU Pro drivers? I selected RADV drivers and it is working smoothly with the latest Proton |

Works fine for me with Steam Beta/Proton Experimental/Vulkan. Perhaps you could provide some more detail?
