GPU Fans arent spinning while playing PoE

Hello,

my GPU Fans go to 0 RPM if hte focused window is PoE.
I've reinstalled my driver (and uninstalled with DDU before) but it didnt change.

in loadingscreens, the GPU Fan RPM goes up and stops as soon as im ingame again.

the problem only occurs with poe - dx11/vulkan doesnt matter.

Does anyone have the same problem or a possible solution?

Cheers

Well it could depend on the cards temp and if it's low enough the FAN's turns off. So depending of your Vendor software / maybe motherboard settings, then you should contact the vendor of the card and ask for help to diagnose this on your pc.
Yep. My fans start running around 60°C. PoE starts below that for sure. After some minutes in a map my GPU reaches the temperature mentioned above and starts running. If you are in a map several minutes and the fans dont start, then there is a problem.
My GPU Runs to 87°C, the hottest point is 95°C.

As soon as i alt-tab out, my fans start spinning - when i tab back into the game, they instantly turn to 0 rpm.

So - NVIDIA says i shall contact the game developer since its a game specific problem.

I can reproduce it by 100% - i tab out, RPM goes to 2700-3000, i tab back into the game, 0 rpm. All the fkn time.

Reinstalled the game, reinstalled the drivers, uninstalled MSI Afterburn, installed it again, tried manual curves etc. +

It drives me crazy since it makes no sense, that the RPM controll restricts it to 0 even though the GPU runs hot.

GGG have no control over your hardware (GPU fans) so that just nVidia beeing lazy. Also did you buy the card from nVidia or from MSI ?
If you are using any sort of software that can control your fan speeds, and has profiling options, it could just as well be that at some point while in poe you were messing with fan speeds, and by accident created game-specific profile with messed up preset.

You could also try factory presets for gpu, even after reinstalling afterburner. If you don't know exactly what you are doing, that thing can cause a lot of issues.
No rest for the wicked.
