The Flame Golem Barrage, same mistake as Heist eh?
So in Heist GGG staggered the attacks of ranged units when players open doors. This was done because some player didn't bait the first volley by running wall to wall across the doorway.
Now we have a far worse offender where there is no wall for player to use. I've Leap Slam'd through a Scourge saw a cluster of Fire Golems ahead of me, watched them throw fireballs and kill me before that Leap Slam lets me land on the ground. At 6.4 APS do you realize how stupidly fast of a mid air-RIP that is? At any rate. Just thought I'd bring this up since Heist was changed for what I'd consider a lesser offense. I won't be using Leap Slam in Scourge at this point till I'm sure those Golems aren't in the map that's for sure. I'm better off running on +115% Movement Speed. Also ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've seen it quite a few times now. Mostly with Delirium. "Environmental" Attacks and effects will wind up then stop due to the Scourge mechanic starting. These attacks don't even continue when Scourge ends. They continue once the player goes back within the area. Multiple times I've gone back and watched a laser fly across my screen from an effect 2 min ago. Even tho I don't have a problem with those golems (bcz spell block) I agree that Scourge monsters are stupidly overtuned in some parts.
Those self destruct/on death exploding dogs, that run with lights speed are one of the worst offenders imo. Every time I see them I just refuse to do Scourge in that map. I might be able to block their damage as well, but if they hit... well I don't want to take the risk. " I didn't notice these until reading this. Honestly most of my experience with Scourge is a blurred mess of eye-puke since I'm running an Evasion Melee Strike build. Doesn't mean they wouldn't have killed me and then I notice but what's likely saved me is 120% Shock/Chill with Savior clones + Ancestral Call. Part of that eye-puke is my own fault =D Seems like there's an over tuned counter for most playstyles in this league. In my case the Golems are too far to freeze and shoot too fast to to use Leap Slam as movement in case I reveal a cluster straight ahead and just die. I have to hope the first cluster I see doesn't kill me then zigzag run. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

I just Sunder+Fist of War+increased area of effect+pulverize 2 screens before.^^
