Question about flask effect and suffixes

Does the flask effect mod also affect the suffix?

Example: if I have 56% reduced effect of curses during flask effect (suffix) and 25% increased effect (prefix) would I get a total of 70% effect of curses during flask effect?

-56% + 25% = 31% reduced effect

Where are you getting 70%? If the prefix affected the suffix, then the suffix would in turn have to affect the prefix, creating a neverending loop.

-56% + (-56*0.25) = -70% (if it's work)

Edit: it's work

I'm 99% sure that increasing the effect of a "negative" makes it more negative and not positive. The math is -56% x 125% = -70%. An example would be attack modifier quality on the Ryslatha's Coil belt (it enhances a.k.a increases attack modifier mods). The 30%-40% less minimum damage turns into 36%-48% less minimum damage when you add 20% attack quality and not 10%-20% as you are implying.

The question still stands though. Gonna test it out on an ele weakness map and return with the results... for science :)
Everyone seems to think I'm wrong...I probably am. Yes, it is very possible to "increase" the value of negative mods. This is seen through various mechanics and not unique to flasks. I still don't see why two lines of mods on the flask itself would work this way. I can't test it, and if it is working that way I'm sure it's as intended and not a bug.

I think I see where the misunderstanding is from, the "25% effect" in OP is "flask effect" not "curse effect," flask effect is a meta modifier affecting modifiers granted by the flask, making the "-56% curse effect" modifier apply at 125% of its value, which is -70%
