Is Awakened PoE Trade legal?

I was thinking in using a overlay tool to check the prices but i heard that tool "Awakened PoE Trade" get peoples ban, can i use this?

In general, we do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools because they provide advantages for players that use them. I'm afraid, due to the dynamics of our policies, we're unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future. I would recommend refraining from creating or using any program that automates gameplay or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible. | |

" This happened once, for a very specific reason...then every cheating git use it as an excuse to try get unbanned. The addon is currently OK, it dose not get you banned...it could be used in a way that could get you banned or changed in a way that could get you banned. It was a change to the addon that got some people banned because it allowed them to spam the shit out of the trade API to the point it was effectively Ddosing it, the problem was subsequently fixed. As for the official answer, GGG will not comit to a solid answer on this because things change outside their control and they would rather not have to deal with a 5 year old post that said some addon was OK at the time despite it changing to become a cheat. " It's 99.9% safe, unless GGG revisit their stance on it and decide to crack down (in which case, it's going to result in incredible amounts of bans). Naturally, GGG cannot confirm or deny it, but it's used by a frankly huge number of streamers and is such a QOL improvement to the game that it's probably used by a lot of others too. From a thread on Reddit a bit back, a GGG'er all-but confirmed that it was okay, unless you were abusing it (if I recall, only 3 people have been banned for using this sort of price-checking overlay, and they were making *millions* of calls). However...at the end of the day, this is something you do entirely at your own risk. |
