Arakaali's Fang and the Writhing Jar -- clunky mechanism

Whenever I use the Writhing Jar my carrion golem one shots the worms and the Fang is not triggered. Apparently, I have to kill the worms personally.

1) Can my other minions not target and kill the worms? or

2) Can my minions kill the worms and trigger the Fang? or

3) Can the Arakaali's Fang trigger be changed from kill to consume a corpse
(like Soulwrest Staff)?

It is hard to trigger the spiders on kill when the spiders are the main source of damage for the build.

Thanks.

Your character seems to have Divine Ire so I’m surprised to hear this has proven difficult for you. Hold down the Divine Ire keybind. Without lifting that finger, activate the flask. The worms will be dead before your other minions have a chance to react. This works 100% of the time.

If you absolutely can’t get the hang of that (it really isn’t difficult tbh), there’s various ways of getting around it. Fairgraves' Tricorne prevents your minions from killing enemies with Hits, so either they do so with Damage Over Time (which gets credited to you), or you kill the initial enemies. Gravebind makes it even easier by giving you credit for every kill.

Thanks Sarno. I copied the build from Kay Gaming and had no idea why Divine Ire was being used. I looked at Tricorne Fairgraves but it had no mention about minions. My next upgrade will be Gravebind. It is supposed to automate the raising of spiders but it is very expensive on standard compared to league. Funny how a unique was introduced to fix another unique's problem. It reminds me of big pharma.
