Berserk Without Rage?

Hi,

I have been reading up on several builds on Poe.ninja and notice a number of them using Berserk.

So I tried it out with a decent increase in DPS on POB. However, I noted that I could never activate Berserk in game. So after some reading here, I realised that I do not have the rage red meter on the mana portion and thus unable to use Berserk.

But when I went back to study on the few builds on poe.ninja, I realised that there were a number of builds ( including deadeye ranger ) that had berserk in their builds but I cant seem to find where they are getting the rage from?

Is it possible for a ranger to use berserk without the rage support gem?

Most likely they generate rage from a notable chain breaker.

Besides beserk is a cheap perk to use in PoE.ninja for the added dps boost , and pretty much used on boss fights.

Unless the ranger builds are using sword/axes, then perhaps they also use a notable called bloodscent.

You can get rage from cluster jewels and axe mastery these days too.

Oh, I checked through their profile.

They were not using any of those.

Maybe they were just equipping to artificially boost up their dps.

I was just curious as I couldnt get berserk to work.

Do not trust the poe.ninja, that's all. Many builds are artificially inflated there and won't reach the promised DPS, or even work right. All just for the place in spotlight.
