Vulkan using too much VRAM

VRAM is almost always "critical" when using Vulkan, after a while the game turns into runescape graphics and doesn't recover even when changing maps. The only way to fix it is to restart the client.
It's a shame because performance using Vulkan is miles better than DX11.

Same thing for me.

Now we have 2 maps in 1 (scourge) and it's too much for my laptop.

Any software ideas?
make sure texture is set to "medium" to fix this issue.
It's a know issue for a long time now.

Same thing starting on 3.16. After 2-4 maps VRAM permanently "Critical". Texture - medium. Dynamic resolution - disabled.

Not much you can do since they don't allow you to set textures to low.

Try DirectX11 like I'm using meanwhile
Still a problem this league.
Yes, just confirming that this is still very much an issue in 3.17.2

Is there any chance this will ever be formally acknowledged as a bug?

DirectX11 runs like shit for me with constant stutters no matter which settings I use. Vulkan is much smoother, no stutters at all, but after a couple of maps VRAM reaches Critical and eventually the client crashes. Only way to resolve this is to restart the PoE client before it maxes out. UI settings don't make the blindest bit of difference, so it seems like a leak.
maybe a driver / OS issue since I don't have it with my 3070Ti.
Could also be a "league only" thing since I only play in standard......
Use DX11. Vulkan has a known CPU leak that targets BOTH AMD & Intel chips on the latest (stable OR beta, doesn't matter) drivers.
