Fortify support not working

Hello, I play totems, and I've noticed that when I use my leap slam (supported by fortify) I don't gain the fortify buff on hit. It's really strange, because I palyed the exact same build last season and it was working properly. Did they change some mechanic on Ancestral Bond keystone or something? or is something else causing this?

they changed fortify, unless you can meet ailment thresholds you won't get any fortification stacks.

and to meet those thresholds requires a decent chunk of damage, don't worry as someone who is playing a melee I hate this change to.
