Spend 30-40 mirrors? It's intended to be a high end chase to compensate for quicker early progression.

i think he was trying to say it was made for absolutely top end players with god tier gear. If you are good enough, Im sure you can do it for much cheaper.

I need to vent this somewhere and I don't want to post a new thread so - I had unbelievable lack of luck.
I had only two (I'm a casual) simulacrum (maps), both Hysteriagates. First time, around wave 23 I got bugged with one invisible misnter. Spend waiting like 30 minutes, reported bug with the screen and number and - nothing.
But, hey, not a streamer, I'm not significant, so there you go.

I tried one more time today. Got to wave 29, killed the two bosses, and had ONE portal left. And the game got disconnected, which happens too often to my taste - any time GGG posts sth and it's on the game's welcome screen for instance, it disconnects me.
I thought, well, usually, at least the portal are still there.
No luck. I thought I'd just ditch the game in frustration...

And as for OP - no need for mirrors... It may make it easier, but look up builds that are specifically for sims, and you can make it, probably.

I got to 29 wave first time ever, so that was an achievement in itself. I just got real mad, that perhaps I'd have done 30 if i hadn't has such a crappy luck. And I have simply srs guardian, very tanky guy. And the league's spectres is what makes it work in sims too. Well - at least up to 29...

No. Nope. I've have blasted through over 50 of them with a DD necro on about a 300 Div budget using mostly common uniques. Died once because I really wasn't paying attention. Go CI+ Incandescent Heart, Aegis Aurora, Virdi's for curse immune, melding of the flesh, vile bastion flesh/flame for stun immune, also not very expensive, max block, yadi yadda, easy peasy. Literally the single most expensive thing was a mageblood. I'm not a rich or very skilled player. EDIT: forgot to mention nature's patience. You just don't die. Anyone can do it with that build. I have the piles of useless C roll megalomaniacs to prove it.

Easymode Affliction league.

Trickster Penance Brand of Dissipation, Graven's Secret+Incandescent Heart+CI variant. 25 divs and you can go AFK walking your dog during wave 30 while also being able to oneshot everything incase you feel like pressing your right mouse-button once in a while.
