Random instance lag

Randomly about 1/10 of the instances i join become laggy, it's hard to explain so i made a video, in those lagged instances i constatly have really high ping, and as soon as i quit the instance the lag ends, so its like the instance itself is lagged, it's not about my internet connection being slow or bad because this doesn't happen in other games, and i have normal ping on 9/10 of the instances i join, i've been having this problem for the last two leagues but it was just an inconvenience, but this league the lagged instances have ping of around 1000 and it's unplayable, to fix it i can portal to town and join the instance again and sometimes that fixes it, so for the campaign it's fine but this will mean that i may randomly have to give up map portals or restart the lab just because i got unlucky and got a lagged instance, i've asked on reddit and searched for similar problems on this forum but havent figured out what is happening, im playing on sao pablo.

I´m having the exactly same issue. Leveling normal and sudden everything frozen and the latency goes wild...

It's been happening in Latam since Monday. It's probably something wrong in our networks.
Unfortunately is not a server issue. I've been testing with a friend in the same instances and he doesn't have any lagspikes. I can also rule out packet loss. We can't do anything but wait until it gets better. Last edited by Iggy5150#0007 on Oct 22, 2021, 9:55:17 PM

Sorry amigos, this is not on GGG's end.
There has to be a bottleneck somewhere, and who knows when is gonna get better. What doen't mean that GGG shouldn't invest in an additional getaway in Latam. There is plenty of top-tier datacenters Latam, in the Pacific ;). Connections towards Brazil are known to be a total mess. BTW, a quick mtr test of a messy instance.
