Red/Blue/Green Nightmare Jewel Nerf?

Seems like all the resistance nodes were moved away from sockets in order to nerf the Nightmare jewels.... (Specifically the Marauder and Templar areas)

Ninja nerf? What gives?

but i was looking at the elemental tree next to templar, u can get +15% all resistance from mastery, if it work is still ok
Hey all,

This is my first post (Yay me!). However, to address the issue originally posted the Nightmare Series of Jewels (Red/Blue/Green) Do *NOT* benefit from the mastery nodes for All Resists as thought.

I have placed my Blue Nightmare Jewel by Faith and Steel (Which after the skill tree moves) Should give approximately 7% Spell Block and 20% Chance for Power Charge on Kill.

It doesn't give anything. Nothing, not 7/20 not 13/35 (If Mastery was included.) I'm pretty sure this isn't just a nerf, but also a bug. I'm going to test out other placements to see what I can discover. But, as it stands so far. The intended use of the Nightmare Series as of this post, doesn't work.

I would love to know if this is a currently known issue that is being worked on. Or, if it's just going to die in the long list of bug squashing in game.

Thanks for reading this. TL:DR, Nightmare Jewels aren't just nerfed, they're broken.

EDIT: I will stand corrected with further testing: Nightmare Series REQUIRES the Resist Nodes to have been spent before it will calculate the benefit to the gem. So far with Testing, Scion, right above Gladiator provides 9% Spell Block and 28% Power Charge bonus IF the resist nodes have been slotted.

I hope this helps for others to understand how the nightmare series are supposed to work.
