Avatar of fire in the new league?

Hey, the avatar of fire keynote only gives 50% conversation to fire dmg, it used to be 100.

Is there any way to fully convert all damage to fire other than using xophs blood amulet in the new league? (i know there is the possibility to play hiero, but i dont really like the class)

avatar of fire is completely unchanged, other than moving location.

Its been 50% since I started playing. Previously you converted the remaining amount via magmatic strikes (20%), craft/veil on glove for 25-35%, anger conversion watcher's eye (40%) or glorious vanity nodes (I think these are 10%). There is a unique quiver with 50% conversion, or influenced versions which can roll phys to fire as well.

I don't know what build you are playing so I can't say whats best for you, but if you can make your way to any of the fire wheels you can take the mastery which gives 40% conversion to fire which would take you to 90%. If this isn't an option, then any of the suggestions above should still work.

It's always been 50%. 100% conversion would be really really broken.

so with the fire mastery 40+50 from avatar of fire, my elemental hit should get really stronger than before no?

The fire mastery only converts 40% physical to fire. It doesn't do anything to cold/lightning.

The phys portion on your bow wont do much for fire Ele Hit (assuming you're making a +3 gem lvl bow on a Thicket or maybe Imperial), both of which have low base dmg and you don't roll any phys% or added phys mods for Ele Hit.

I think some people use Pyre ring also for other ele conversion.

Also with Avatar of Fire you lose all chaos damage if not converting some way.
