Your damage *can* Ignite = *will* Ignite?

Just to be sure, when I see "Your lightning damage can Ignite" on a Stormfire ring, it means it will ignite, right?

You still need % chance to ignite or a critical hit.

Even fire damage has 0% innate chance to ignite unless it is a crit, or you get +chance to ignite.
So with Stormfire you either still need 100% chance to crit, or 100% chance to ignite, or mage asendancy that gives every type of damage 100% chance to ignite. At least to ignite with every hit. |
