Resolution bugged

Hi

Like the tittle says when i do start my game the resolution is always 1938x1127(custom) Windowed Fullscreen then i change to 1080p which is the one i want to use and the resolution doesnt change, after that if i exit the game resolution will switch again to 1938x1127(custom) Windowed Fullscreen.

If i change the mode to fullscreen resolution will change, but then again if i exit the game when i come back resolution and mode switch again to 1938x1127(custom) and mode to windowed fullscreen.

Drivers are up to date, native resolution of the monitor is 2560x1440p, i did verified my client content and still the same problem, i dont think the problem is in my side since this happen suddenly.

PC specs for the matter: i7 6700k SSD240gb 1080SLI

Any help will be appreciated cheers.

Sounds like an issue with the config file/folder permissions.

Honestly, I can't remember the fix for this off the top of my head. I am sure someone will chime in soon with the fix. If not, try doing a search of just the Tech support forum for something similar and see if you can find it yourself.

Up!
rename poe's inifile (production.config in the poe config folder) before you start poe and se if that helps.

also check if the game has assigned the right GPU in the configuration.

like @Vio said --> Find the production.config file on your harddisc and delete it / move it away (game has to be closed before you do it).
Then start the game again and all your settings are now reset. Now try doing the correct graphics setup and see if it works.

If you don't know how to find files on your computer, then you will need to find someone to help you.
the config is in "c:\Users\SaikoMVP\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini"

can you try running PoE as "an administrator" (you right click on the icon and select this).
