Saced Grove from sacred blossom can spawn with a non interactable central pillar = no boss fight
|
Bug encountered: I used a sacred blossom to open a sacred grove for the Oshabi boss fight. The grove instance spawned as expected; it was not a regular grove instance but the boss instance with the blooming central pillar. However, the central pillar did not do anything and was not interactable. I explored the whole map, tried clicking everywhere on the pillar or around it, but there was no way to trigger the boss fight.
Possibly related: I had traded for the sacred blossom (did not find it myself). This was the first thing I did after starting the game and traveling to my hideout. I had DND mode enabled. Solutions tried: I left the grove instance, did one delve node to make sure the bug was not caused because I did not fight anything else before, but when I entered my hideout again the portals and the grove instance were gone so I couldn't gather more debug information. Possibly whatever prevented me from interacting with the pillar crashed the instance after I left? Technical stats: Vulkan Renderer; Predictive networking; Multithreading enabled; WQHD resolution @165 Hz; To lose such a rare and expensive boss fight is obviously very disappointing in particular because it is part of the league challenges :-( Screenshot: ![]() ![]() ![]() Last bumped on Oct 10, 2021, 9:01:59 PM

" Thanks for the reply, I am aware of the instance timer. But usually the timer is much longer than the 1 minute that it took to do the delve node. Anyway, the closing was not the main bug that was that the boss fight in the instance did not trigger in the first place. |

Get a bug report number next time. Without it, GGG can't recreate the instance and find out what went wrong.

Also, in Predictive there is way too many packet loss so that it may causing your click on the boss did not trigger

I appreciate the replies. I understand that the circumstances of my report are not ideal, but I did not know about the in game feature to report bugs until it was too late.
I still think it was important to open the report in case someone else encounters the same problem (if so please leave a note to let me know I am not imagining things), or in case a GGG employee sees this and has an immediate idea for what the problem may be (e.g. opening the grove as the first instance with enemies fails, because it relies on initializing some other part). |
