Can logbooks contain expedition bosses randomly? (without saying so explicitly)

The only boss I've had so far was Uhtred, and I could have sworn it didn't say on the logbook that he was present, but the moment I entered the zone, there it was, a large skull. But I could have theoretically overlooked it in the description - unlikely, but I could have.
I need to know because I want to see all the guys before the league ends, so I'd know whether to run all logbooks because someone might pop up (I have a bunch in the stash, none of them say that there's a boss in there), or just grind more maps / buy logbooks with bosses. Yes but there are level restrictions for each boss. And they’ll only pop in their respective areas.

I think Jerle posted in another post there is % chance for a boss to appear in any logbook.
If you are missing a certain boss, make sure you run the area the boss is located in, maybe you will get lucky. Looks like, Olroth, Origin of the Fall Min Level: 81 Sub area: Runic Stronghold [Removed by Support] I am not Anti-Social, I am just selective on whom I wish to be social with. Great, thanks! Nice to hear there is a chance, time to spam those logbooks. :) Fingers crossed for Olroth.
But let me just double-check - I think the areas merely mean the fraction present in the area? (Medved is the main Druid of the Broken Circle, Vorana led the Black Scythe Mercenaries, etc.), and not a particular, concrete zone? The thing is listed on VHPG are the sub-areas for Uhtred and Olroth, who have their own arenas (unlike Medved and Vorana, who pop up in the excavation itself). Had not much boss encounters but from my ewxperience they can show up in different ways in 68+ logbooks:
- They are mentioned in the logbook description "contains Medved,etc." - Randomly in any map in their natural habitat. This means sometimes there is a boss marker in the overlay map. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore

" It's just RNG. I started to run them quickly to finish the end game grind and only did the ones with bosses in them. I think I ran into about 30 bosses in 150 logbooks, but had droughts of like 20+ logbooks but then had runs where I got a boss in 3 straight. It would be nice if they built in some sort of weighting to make an encounter more likely with each consecutive fail, and then reset the odds weighting after you find those encounters.
