Just can't log in after a break

Hi, I can't log in to the game after a 1yr+ break. Before the break, the game connection was fine (on the same PC I'm using now). I deleted then the game and installed it today and I can't log in to the same acc ('unable to connect to login server' message pops out).

I have Win 10, my hardware is fine with Poe requirements.

Things I have already tried:
- running as administrator
- adding poe as exception to firewall and antivirus (malware bytes)
- reseting the router
- changing port in my router (I use wire, yes)
- changing my acc password on the website to make sure I'm using the good one
- deleting poe temporary files in mydocuments/mygames/pathofexile
- the game has been installed on C, ssd

Are there any other solutions I could try or should I contact the support?

Ps. I haven't tried yet running the game with steam as when I tried, it started installing the game the second time on my PC, so I stopped it. Maybe should I reinstall the game totally?

try using Exitlag or NordVPN to check in this is a security issue / ISP problem.
Also I assume that you have tried several PoE gateways in the login box ?

Yes, I have tried different gateways in the client, and still can't log in.
Also following your advice, I installed Exitlag, changed routes a few times (some EU, some US) and still no positive results \;

Then I would say that you have something blocking trafic on your pc, so either do a clean windows'10 installation or disable all your security software on it.
'unable to connect to login server' is almost always an issue with your internet connection.

Who is your ISP?

Already disabled all these security softwares and, unlucky, no positive results still.

As an update: I've reinstalled PoE, but this time via steam - still can't log in.

As @MacNoCheese suggested here about my ISP problems (my ISP is the same as before) - I wil try again do something again with my router - turn it on/off, change the ports. If these still won't let me log in to the game, I guess it's an issue with my system. Kinda stupid.

Changing ports is not needed. Neither is disabling so-called security software.

Again, who is your ISP? Just because you could log in before, it does not mean that there is not a problem with your ISP. There may be something on their end that has changed, in particular with the way they route your connection. There may well be a broken "hop".

Have you run a WinMTR against the PoE login server?

That's why I had him using a VPN system to bypass the ISP "network" routes.
However it could be a DNS issue also if his ISP is blocking some DNS zones....
@HanSoloDK @MacNoCheese (I don't know, how to tag you properly on this forum. Hope you will see this reply of mine anyway)
Generally my ISP is Pirxnet, it is in Poland, EU.
And well, I did run WinMTR, as host I used eu.login.pathofexile.com. There is 0 value in 'loss%' at every line of IPs, so everything is working well, I guess?

I don't know, maybe should I try a different app to change VPN or something (as Exitlag could didn't work properly for some reason for me)?

Eventually, if everything could be really my ISP's fault, how should I ask them that there may be something wrong in my connection with PoE? How to tell them about that issue and what changes should I suggest to them to make sure they will fix the problem?
I have the same problems and I am a some what active player.
I had all the same "do this" and "do that" told to me, I did all of them even calling my ISP, NOTHING worked.
This is a problem with POE not your computer or ISP.
I was doing great, and was able to play. then they did a patch/update and now i am back to the same problem you have.
Good luck, I will be watching to see if you find a fix, and if I do I will let you know.
