No sound with Voicemeter Potato

The other week I installed Voicemeeter Potato on my system in order to be able to have music play on my twitch stream without it being on the vod. I've been playing several games since and all worked fine. Today I wanted to give Anomaleague a try and booted up PoE for the first time since, and it has absolutely no sound. In sound options the device box is grayed out and says "NoSound Driver". I tried routing PoE to all the different Voicemeter input channels and fiddled with settings in the app itself but to no avail.

Has anyone ever got PoE to work properly with this software? Or is there some technical reason why it can't work?

Edit: For any future visitors, I found the solution. Close Voicemeeter, start PoE, go to options, sound tab, select the driver that says Voicemeter, save, close PoE, open Voicemeeter, open PoE.

did you try changing the windows sound settings?
