Imprint + Fracture

You cannot imprint a fractured item, but can you:
1) Imprint a magic item with Craicic Chimeral
2) Slam enough modifiers
3) Harvest craft Fracture with Ersi
4) Use the imprint on a failed fracture to rinse and repeat

You can only imprint magic item (non-fractured , non-synthesised, no split tag)

Can't remember influenced item can be imprinted

(edit: i mean create an imprint from the item, not meaning using the created Imprint to restore the mod)

Yes, I would be imprinting it before fracturing it. Would I be able to use the imprint to revert the fractured item back to the non-fractured, magical state?

I vaguely remember reading you couldn't, but I can't find that information again.

Actually nevermind. It's the imprint itself that says it cannot be used fractured items, not the beast used to create the imprint.
read version 3.13.0 patch note....

Imprinted Eternal Orbs can no longer be applied to Fractured items, overriding their Fractured modifiers.

Despite it is a typo, pretty sure imprint from Eternal Orbs and from beastcrafting behave the same

You can't fracture influenced/synthesized items, so buying/crafting a new base should not be that much of an issue. Just buy 3 items with the mod you want to fracture, and fracture their prefix/suffix accordingly.

Correct. While it doesn't help me, I think this is a good thing. All I really need to do is set up a dupe base which costs about ~2.25 ex before attempt the fracture rather than merely the 1ex for the imprint reset...darn fracture attempt is ~25-30 ex average right now. Time to run Harvest for myself! I doubt I'll even play enough more this league to profit off the dupe. I still need to 3w and 30% quality it. I'd like to perfectly divine it, but I already have to find my own Harvest crafts to afford crafting it.

I duped a lot of legacy base or legacy mod before GGG decided to add Split modifier to beastcrafting

So that crafting always burn your money by risk of breaking the base and you have to buy another

Wow, I completely missed that part of 3.14. I've never paid that much attention to crafting and missed that the split tag on the original prohibits the imprint from being applied. That's twice now you saved me from a blunder, thank you.
