CWC and Server Tick Rate
CWC triggers every .34 - .45, and the server ticks every .033 seconds. Does this set thresholds where you actually get:
- Gem levels 1-5 every .462 seconds (14 ticks) - Gem levels 6-11 every .429 seconds (13 ticks) - Gem levels 12-17 every .396 seconds (12 ticks) - Gem levels 18-23 every .363 seconds (11 ticks) - Awakened level 1 every .363 seconds (11 ticks) - Awakened levels 2-6 every .33 seconds (10 ticks) Or does it calculate exactly how it says and the actual trigger is ±1 tick? Server tick rates only matter for cooldowns because whether a cooldown has expired is only updated once per server tick.
Attack and cast times etc. all work with times that are not multiples of 33 ms, so there seems to be no reason to believe CwC would work differently. You can feel free to test it of course. |

" That is very helpful, thank you. For my purposes it won't matter, but it's good to know overall that I don't have to mathematically treat all CWC setups like other trigger based builds. I think with 153% increased casting speed this will work: - Arcanist Brand - Desecrate - Divergent Spell Cascade, 20% quality - Bone Offering - Flesh Offering - Spirit Offering I need the first offering to trigger before the third Desecrate. I don't know the actual pulse time for Spell Cascade, but preliminary testing leads me to believe it is .01 seconds normal, .02 Divergent. I've been playing around with various ways to utilize Leash of Oblation, and if this works it will be an ideal late-game setup with Undertaker as a budget approach. |

I do not know the initial delay for the corpse spawn of Desecrate, so I am afraid that I am unable to help with verifying whether that interaction would work.
It might be questionable whether that is worth using a 6-link however, as well as the required investment into cast speed. |

" The delay comes in how Spell Cascade operates. You cast your initial spell, short delay, front pulse, delay, back pulse. Divergent simply doubles that delay. For my Spectre build, cast speed investment is not worth it in the least. However, other builds may take use of it, especially with Fleash Offering + Divergent Spirit Offering granting 70%+ cast speed for the offering. Your portion may only be 50%, but that can increase up to 85% with a single modifier. I'm not too focused on this course though. The typical all 3 offerings in a trigger weapon is much easier to manage, especially if equipping Corpsewalker. Alternatively you can set Desecrate and your Offerings on separate auto casts. |

" Desecrate has its own delay before corpses appear. If it is triggered "simultaneously" with offerings or Detonate Dead / Volatile Dead, the spells that consume corpses do not have any effect on the first trigger because the corpses created by Desecrate are not there yet. Since Arcanist Brand triggers the linked spells in sequence rather than simultaneously, this might actually make it easier for your combination to work out, though I do not know whether the corpse limit is checked when the spell is "cast" (including the delay from Spell Cascade) or when the corpses are actually created. |

" Hmm, I thought being triggered Desecrate skipped the initial delay but because they are summoned in the same frame as the offering it did not trigger. Guess I was wrong. As to Desecrate summoning 15 corpses in a single cast it should be possible. I have been able to trigger all 3 offerings in a L19 CWC setup after self-casting Desecrate. It's not very practical though since I'm too slow about 75% of the time, but that won't be relevant for the brand. |
