Lightning Tendril + Spell totem still broken

Lightning Tendrils has been broken for many leagues now, when used with spell totem.


Casting Lightning Tendrils with Spell totem creates a totem as expected, but on random occasions, the totem will refuse to cast the spell. This lasts for the complete duration of the totem, no matter how the enemies are repositioned around it.

Here is a screenshot. All I did is I bought a lightning tendril, spell totem, socketed them and went to Tidal Island. I spawned the totem and nothing. You can clearly see the enemies are within range.

When I say random, I don't mean it rare either. If you started playing lightning tendril totems from when you first get them, you'll encounter this bug before you are done with the first couple areas. It's really easy to reproduce.

I demand action on this! (edit: I really would try this out if it worked)

Yes, once per day (24 hours) is allowed.

Can confirm, about 1/3rd of the time that the totem would start casting it does nothing and acts as though it is casting (as it will not attempt to cast again). It maintains targeting on the enemy, turning to face it.

I've been trying to find exactly the conditions that cause it to not work, but it's just too random.

One day an acknowledgment will come, but until that day comes, my watch will remain ever vigilant.

Ok, prolly not getting fixed before launch, but one can dream.
