The Aisling changes

The recent aisling change where it removes a random mod before adding a veiled one is so bad, i cant even put it into words.
It's the most frustrating crafting change i've encountered in my close to 9 years of playing the game.



I've been running aisling for a week straight now and i'm getting unlucky 90% of the time, it kills the prefixes on my wand, i have to redo the wands prefixes which can take up 100 ex. Then i manage to get a mod on there somehow, and it unveils the wrong mods despite it being a chance of around 1:5.

I'm over 25 aislings deep and so far i managed to get a veiled mod on the wand 4 times, everytime it unveiled the wrong mod.

It's bad, really bad. Its not fun, not engaging. its just frustrating.

you need to get lucky to add a mod without bricking your item and then you have a 10-15% chance to actually unveil the mod you're looking for.

Change the following, please:

Either

A) move the bench back from T4 to T3 so it won't take as long to get and wont feel as bad to fail the slam.
B) Undo the change where it removes a modifier, why would you do this anyways, its just annoying and frustrating.
C) Give us all veil mods as options so we only need to hit the slam once.

You are experiencing Chris Wilsons vision of crafting. Be happy, you got 100ex to spend in the first place, imagine trying crafting with a total budget of 5ex...

Yeah, their idea is for you to grind your life away to get enough currency just to finish your craft as the league is ending, so you never get to appreciate your gear.

I could still improve my gear slightly but what the hell is the point now? League's dead and ending soon, all I need is a few more maps to hit 36... burnout is a thing, Chrissy.

EDIT: wait, you're on standard. Why are you complaining? At least you are not locked behind a ticking clock.

standard is not immune to nerfs so in a sense the clock IS ticking. also vaal builds in league suck compared to builds with legacy soul catcher and ripper so i'm making the wands in standard



can you imagine what kinda pain it is to run 8 hours of aisling, only to have them all remove the mod you want and then even unveil something you dont need, having to redo 8% ele as extra over and over by spamming white haewark maps as fast as possible.

all while barely sustaining maps and currency to continue crafting... i'm getting burned out and i'm at peak frustration.

I don't need to imagine, I bricked plenty of items already this league.

If it wouldn't be worth it, you wouldn't be doing it right now. What you want is to do it insanely cheap compared to the profit.

I could write a wall of text trying to convice you otherwise but you're literally just trying to prove your point about "HURR DURRR MUH ITEM EDITOR".

There is no point in arguing with people like you. You don't contribute to this thread and or discussion by attacking me and my motives personally.

Btw, my motives are to make a gg wand for my vaal pathfinder, offering others to mirror it makes sense how annoying it is to make with the low supply of bloodstained fossils. So much for making a huge profit huh? I already spent 4 mirrors on making wands and helmets and sold some that cost me 200 ex to make for less than 30. I guess i'm just playing the long con then right ?

I'm not even complaining about the COST of making the item, i'm arguing that the current changes made it more TEDIOUS and ANNOYING. Just like trying to talk to people like you, who don't even engage with that argument but immediatly unload their toxic bs here.

Even if i were trying to craft for insane profits, i certainly wouldn't make a mirror tier item for a build that like 10 people in standard play.

Wands, multiple. Don't try to lie now that you're poor, selling stuff under the market value, and telling us that just mirroring service an item doesn't mean it is mirror tier.
You've got catched red handed here.

If it is used to make mirror tier items it should be hard and tedious.
