Gem Suggestion: Lightning to Cold Support

Following the hierarchy of conversion,
There is physical->lightning->cold->fire Physical to Lightning: We have a support gem for this Lightning to Cold: No support gem available Cold to Fire: We have a support gem for this So could we please get a Lightning to Cold Support Gem along the same line as the other conversion gems? i.e. Green level 18 support gem, 50% conversion, etc. Currently the only way to do a Lightning to Cold conversion is via Call of the Brotherhood. Requires both ring slots and a bunch of Turbulent Catalysts, and only hits 96% conversion. Last bumped on Sep 7, 2021, 11:54:26 PM

adding to this, why not convert elemental to physical?

" Because the process that's used for elemental conversion does not allow for such conversion. It can go only one way physical>lightning>cold>fire>chaos, allowing skipping steps but not reverse. |

This would kinda make CotB obsolete, wouldn't it?

" Not really, you would still need one CotB. Since you can't have two of the same support, a Lightning to Cold Support only gets you 50% conversion. A Single CotB + Conversion Gem = 90% Conversion Quality CotB + Conversion Gem = 98% Conversion CotB + Anomalous Conversion Gem (0.5% Convert/Quality) = 100% Conversion So instead of 2x CotB, you would only need 1xCotB + Support Gem. |
