Extrene (10-30 s) latency spikes
|
My problem is, that every 2-3 minutes I get an extreme, 10-30s (10000-30000 Ms) long latency spike, whoch makes the game unplayable. It usually does not disconnects the game to login screen, but sometimes it does. It is very regular, happens even in hideout too.
What I tried so far (unsucsesfully): - Turning off firewall/antivirus - Reinstall the game - Using VPN - Changeing settings to lowest, changeing other settings (Vsync, Vulkan, multithreading) I also tried using Wimtr, but after a couple seconds it produces incomprehensible (for me) results: |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 192.168.0.1 - 100 | 38701 | 34 | 1 | 5 | 23 | 3 | | hu-bud02a-rt2.aorta.net - 100 | 38676 | 34 | 10 | 49 | 197 | 145 | | hu-bud04a-rc1-ae-45-0.aorta.net - 100 | 38703 | 34 | 12 | 51 | 205 | 156 | | catv-89-133-4-5.catv.broadband.hu - 100 | 38700 | 34 | 11 | 51 | 202 | 148 | | ae10-100-ucr1.bdv.cw.net - 100 | 38701 | 34 | 13 | 52 | 208 | 148 | | ae15.xcr1.bud.cw.net - 100 | 38697 | 29 | 10 | 43 | 207 | 45 | | Xe-9-1-edge2.nwr1.level3.net - 100 | 33106 | 3 | 0 | 12 | 13 | 12 | | ae-1-3103.edge1.Budapest1.Level3.net - 100 | 38703 | 34 | 14 | 53 | 202 | 144 | | 212.187.202.54 - 100 | 38700 | 34 | 12 | 49 | 209 | 152 | | 172.65.197.210 - 100 | 38699 | 34 | 12 | 50 | 205 | 153 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| If somenone could help me with some advice, it would be much appreciated!! Are you able to provide another report using the guidelines found here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789
In particular you should only run the report for 300-500 packets, and ensure that you are using an instance IP in which you encountered the issues within. Are you using wireless internet by any chance as well? |

Thank you for your answer, I am not using wireless. The test results that I put in my original post was run for just like 30 seconds, until that there were 0 loss, but after that in a couple of seconds the number of sent packets suddenly rose to 38K. I tired several different europen servers, the results the same. Did another MTR test, the sent packet spike happened this time after 106 sent packets:
|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 192.168.0.1 - 100 | 25272 | 117 | 1 | 3 | 91 | 3 | | hu-bud02a-rt2.aorta.net - 100 | 25274 | 117 | 9 | 34 | 217 | 12 | | hu-bud04a-rc1-ae-45-0.aorta.net - 100 | 25270 | 117 | 9 | 35 | 308 | 17 | | catv-89-133-4-5.catv.broadband.hu - 100 | 25279 | 117 | 10 | 38 | 219 | 11 | | ae10-100-ucr1.bdv.cw.net - 100 | 25272 | 117 | 9 | 35 | 224 | 18 | | ae10-xcr1.bud.cw.net - 100 | 25276 | 117 | 10 | 37 | 220 | 20 | | Xe-9-1-edge2.nwr1.level3.net - 100 | 30256 | 9 | 0 | 23 | 101 | 12 | | ae-2-3203.edge1.Budapest1.Level3.net - 100 | 25276 | 117 | 10 | 36 | 217 | 20 | | 212.187.202.54 - 100 | 25277 | 117 | 11 | 36 | 311 | 13 | | 172.65.250.221 - 100 | 25269 | 117 | 10 | 36 | 309 | 13 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| |

That's pretty odd, and it's showing 100% packet loss as well. Just to confirm, you got those IP addresses from your client.txt file?
Could potentially be an issue with your router, could try power cycling that to begin with. |
|
" you need to fix firewall issue on your windows box or in your ISP router/modem since ICMP packets are being dropped = WinMTR report doesn't work / are incomplete. |

i have the same problem, today it's my record... 60K. Someone solved this problem?
