Disconnecting every 15-30 minutes

I keep getting disconnected from poe, even though my internet is otherwise unaffected. During the time I'm disconnected from poe I can't access pathofexile.com either (every other website works fine.) I switched from Steam to standalone client and nothing changed. It's very frustrating. Any ideas?

The same exact thing is happening to me.
My internet is not affected, only this website and the game client are.
I notice inside of my event viewer, at the time of it happening, I get this warning:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{xx-xx-xx-xx-xx}
and APPID
{x-xx-xx-xx-xx}
to the user (removed for privacy) SID (x-x-x-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I updated Windows and it seems to have helped. I will play tomorrow and reply again. I'll check to see if it included anything network related.

Please, stop...
1) there's no need to install third party software - Windows has built in tracert
2) this is clearly not a routing issue, so tracerouting is useless here
3) ...and sorry for being mean, but imagine you get traceroute log - what next? What are you trying to achieve?
4) why 300+, not 1, 100+ or 1000+? Seems like a random tip with a random number.

Fell free to take this up with GGG. This is what GGG ask for as "minimum info" when reporting connection issue.

It's GGG that SPECIFICLY ask for the program WinMTR to be used and have also stated that 300+ packets is minimum.
Also WinMTR is not ONLY used for the route information BUT also to see the packet loss and latency "over time". Both are things that can make the PoE client DC from the server.

I can see that you made many "smart" comments today in many threads but not once did you try to help the people having problems......

Well, it happened again. Maybe it's happening less frequently cause I've only been disconnected once today after probably 4 hours of playing. The same thing, when I am disconnected pathofexile.com is unavailable. I'd post the logs and stuff you're asking for but I'm working (lol) so I can't really set stuff up and get good data right now other than playing the game (lol) and reporting what happens. I'll check out the permissions thing later as well and let you know if that changes anything.

Hey bud I can't confirm this is a permanent fix but it seems to have worked for me.

run command prompt as an admin (windows button, type "cmd" and right click to run as admin.

Type "sfc /scannow"

Wait until it is done and if there are corrupted files, it will present "corrupt files found and successfully fixed" something along those lines. Restart your computer.

It seems to have solved the issue for me. This was after a recent update of windows that also magically corrupted all of my restore points so all system restore options had failed.

I will get more of an idea if this has fixed it tomorrow around 1 PM CST because this is when it starts happening for me.

P.S. Don't fool around with your permissions. This will only further drive the destruction of your windows build. I have had many attempts at permission setting and it just gets worse the more you change stuff around.

I cant even log in anymore. I wait in a 3k person Q for about 4minutes log in the music cuts out and I Disconnect.. This has happened about 5x in a row.
