Map Stash Tab + Possibly Affinity bug - Maps being (temporarily) lost

Description of bug:

When dropping maps (quickly) from your inventory into a dump tab, with a Map Stash Tab that has the map affinity enabled, some maps get lost (temporarily).

1:03 - I buy 6x T15 Pen Maps and dump them
1:58 - I buy another 6x T15 Pen Maps and dump them
2:49 - I buy the final 8x T15 Pen Maps and dump them
3:03 - I want to take out 2x Pen maps. Given the last 3 trades, I should have at least 20 Maps, but only have 14 (didn't notice yet that something was wrong)
3:31 - After taking out 2 Maps to finish my Essence Sextant I run the first map and finish it
7:17 - Due to having Drox ready, I dump the second Pen Map I got from the Stash tab. After having lost 6 maps already, and taking 2 out, after putting one back in I should have 13 in the Map Stash
16:18 - Done killing Drox
18:34 - Finish rolling the next Sextants
18:53 - Notice that I only have 6x T15 Pen Maps (Even though it should be at least 19/20 traded, or 13 if we consider the first 6 lost. At this point, 1/20 maps were run, 13/20 are lost and 6/20 remain from the purchase

2:17 - From the remaining 6 maps, I take 4 in my inventory (Maps taken before video starts, showing that only 2 maps are in the Map Stash Tab)
3:53 - After restarting the entire client in the hopes of it being a visual bug, I check the Map Stash to find only 2 maps
~Period of Reviewing the last 20 minutes~
18:08 - To test if I can manage to lose even more maps, I dump the 4 maps in my inventory into the dump tab
18:16 - Checking the Map Stash Tab, I now have 17 T15 Pen maps.

In total, I should have at least 19 T15 Pen Maps left but only have 17.

UPDATE 1:
While writing this Bug report I closed my Client. After re-opening it, I am back to 2x Pen Maps :

UPDATE 2:
Taking one of the 2 remaining maps out and dropping it back in the Map Stash Tab (Not the dump tab) revealed the missing maps.

UPDATE 3:
I found another bug report on this:

and Jatin_GGG said: "These maps should appear when you manually go to the specific sub-tab for the Map or when you re-instance."
But as you can see from UPDATE 1 & 2, this is not true. Almost a year and this bug still exists, which so far can only be fixed if you drop a map into an affected sub-tab. I wonder how many people are missing maps because of this.
