What makes itemized temple of Aztoal so valuable?

After I finished my temple did I search trade for similar temple, people were willing to pay 80+ chaos for them. It had some level 3 rooms like lotus of corruption chamber and hall of legends and it was a level 77 temple. I expect it to give 15-20 chaos in drops at most.

I then place it my map for sale for 75 chaos and it was sold after 3 seconds, why do people pay that much?

They want double corruptions for items and gems. Sometimes they want incursion mods/uniques.

you can take a 6ex chestpiece and turn it into a 20+ ex chestpiece with the right corruptions.

yes, it is a 50/50 to destroy the item. but even making all white sockets doesnt lose money.

That one room used to go for ~1 ex I think. I never used any of those services because it was too easy to scam. The very fact GGG made it so you can itemize a temple shows GGG cares about preventing scams.
