On the flip side, there's tons of good fractured mods that cost next to nothing. High spell damage on a wand can get expensive, yeah, but you can often get one of the other desired mods at a high tier for cheap. Crit multi, spell crit chance, cast speed, etc.

Another big one: fractured jewels. You get a quarter of the final product locked in, instead of a sixth. There's no tiers (on normal jewels) and much fewer trash mods. You can get plenty of solid frac modded jewels for less than a stack of c.

One thing about rings: Since many people now play the Forbidden Rite Totem build with Viridi's veil, there is quite a high demand for good magic rings. A simple way to craft those is fractured rings. And since these builds often lack life, mana, attributes, and resistances, it's quite common to pick up a fractured ring with a decent but common high tier mod, slam some alts on it until you get a second good mod, and sell it for around 30c. I've done like 3 of those already.
The average value of a fractured ring is probably around a couple of chaos. Nothing fancy, but worth picking up imo.

Great video but i think there are 2 points that should be made clear:

1)ilvl86 bases will drop only in t17+ maps from rares (or magic in t18 and normal in t19), not many players do that so those bases are out of reach (i suppose if they do they prob don't need to watch the video), btw logbooks can roll higher than t16. Also to get bases ilvl 86 from boxes you'll need to do a t19 map.

2)At around 6:05 you say that a +3 minion (assuming you're getting an ilvl86 base) every 1 in 100 while that's true, we should consider that a rare item has an average of 4 to 5 mods and you'll need to actually get the +3 fractured, which makes it around 20%-25% chance to actually have +3 fractured, so from 1 in 100 it goes to 1 in 400-500 and this is a "common" mod
