Explosive Concoction in Multiplayer game crashing Computer

Today finally I decided much like the lancing steel bug, maybe the bug was caused by all the projectiles with Explosive Concoction. I have my skill setup with Greater Volley/Lesser MultiProj and Deadeye Scion, so throwing a lot of proj, that combined with all the traps in the same area maybe crashing. So I switched skills to test and ran a couple of maps and had zero crashing, my wife still played Ice Trap. It seems something with Explosive Concoction is making this occur.

notes on what was tried:
All normal remediation advised
Upgraded harddrive to SSD
Played standard, but crucially not with the same load outs, didn't see any crashes but limited play time.
Avoided Expeditions
Did Expeditions before she joined
Switched away from playing explosive concoction - this finally seemed to stop the crashing.


TL DR - In multiplayer me playing Explosive Concoction seems to be causing my wife's POE to crash.
