Blade Trap ACTUAL mechanic

Blade trap seems to hit 8 times by default and 10 times while dual wielding. In other words, 2 hits per rotation, which also lines up with the animation. To my ears it plays 10 hit sounds in either case.

I haven't actually done a perfect test to confirm this though (100% poison chance with Herald of Agony and then count stacks).

The other benefit of dual wielding is the increased rotation speed, which allows better DPS uptime against moving targets and better clear. Blade trap sort of plays like a ground based DoT similar to Caustic Arrow due to how the damage from one cast is dispersed across each rotation, and increased rotation speed acts like the various stats that increase the rate at which DoTs deal damage (to be clear, it is a hit-based skill). Increased rotation speed can also help single target if you have enough throwing speed to saturate your trap limit.

I think get shield will be better for QoL.
