Reduced effect of Curses, Shocks, Chills, Freezes, and Ignites on you!
Okay, I've searched and searched for a definitive answer, but I can't seem to find anything but a bunch of contradicting statements.
My question is as follows: If you gain 100% reduced effect of curses on YOU (example: 2x Kikazaru rings [40% reduced each] + 20% from Yugul Pantheon); does that mean that all curses applied to you will have no effect? Yes I know it won't grant "immunity" per se, but will all map curses, and mob curses placed on you will have no effect? Does this include the curses from Soul Mantle as well? __________________________________________________________________________ Second Question is along the same lines: If you gain 100% reduced effect of Chill (or Shock, Ignite, Frozen, etc) does this mean that when you are chilled, you experience no changes. So once again, not necessarily immune to chill, just that they don't affect your character in any way. just like shock wouldn't make you take increased damage, or ignite wouldn't stop you from regaining energy shield because it's not doing any damage over time. __________________________________________________________________________ Yes, I'm aware if you have 100% chance to avoid ailments, then you wont gain them ever. Reduced effect seems like a totally different thing. PLEASE could anyone HELP and explain like the idiot I am? I would also appreciate any links that explain my questions in depth. Id greatly appreciate either one, thank you! IGN: dbk or BONGSANDTHONGS if you prefer Last bumped on Aug 11, 2021, 5:42:24 PM

Immunity mean you cannot receive the curse or ailment. Unaffected or 100% reduced effectiveness means the game registers the application but did not hurt you in any way. This mean anything like Coward's Legacy will still register you as cursed and negate the downside from Soul Mantle.
A map modifier might have 60% increased effectiveness, but that increase is factored in during the application and does not stack with reduced on you. One is increased/reduced on the monster or map, the other is increased/reduced on you. The same holds true for ailments. |

in short, 100% reduced effect means you are unaffected by that effect (ie still count as chilled despite no effect), as long as you dont encounter a modifier granting "increased" effect. increased and reduced modifiers stack into one multiplier.
